1st Day of School! Sometimes I thought this day would never get here, but now that it's here I was kind of nervous for Abby to be at school ALL day! And when I was out ALL day without any kids I kept looking around for the girls thinking I was forgetting them!
They picked out their clothes the night before and got their backpacks ready setting them by their bedroom doors so they could get to school early. I think they woke up at like 6am! And yes they came running down stairs to make sure I woke up with them so we wouldn't be late!!! Needless to say we weren't late. We were a few hours early!!!
Abby was very excited to go to the 1st grade, but also was a little worried about being at school ALL day. So I took the girls to school and walked them in. As they were standing in their lines you would of thought that I was the last person they wanted to be seen with! What is that about I thought that doesn't start for a few more years? I gathered up my pride and left the girls to their friends!
After I was ignored by my children I went to Amy's house to make Heather a sign for when she got home from the hospital. Now she didn't have a nose job, but we thought she would appropriate the sign starting that rumor in the ward! Mean....maybe, but we all had a good laugh about it!
After, we still had time to go get frozen yogurt! Yes there is always time for FROYO! With less kids we jumped into Amy's car and were off!
After I still had time to go home and rest before I had to go pick up the girls! Is it awful to say...I think I am really going to enjoy this all day school thing!!!

Getting Our Hair Did!
The other day I went to my "Hair Goddess" Lynae to get my hair cut and colored. She is amazing. After I was done with my color we had all this extra left over color, and Lynae, like me doesn't like to waste so we started to look around to see who else we could color. Elizabeth was the first up. She got high lights, but we put it under her hair so that it doesn't really stand out. She was so excited! The color really is pretty close to her hair and just looks like she has been in the sun all summer, kinda like she has been.
Next up was Sammy! Now it took a lot of talking into with Amy but we finally got Amy to agree to dieing a small piece of hair underneath in the back of her hair, to look like Rapunzel in Tangled.
I would of done Abby too, but she was at a birthday party. After we were all done we went upstairs to see what ALL the kids were doing. They were spread out over the couch watching TV. Miracle they weren't fighting!

FHE
Last week the girls were asking what we were doing for Family Home
Evening, it was Monday afternoon and I have to be honest I hadn't
thought about what we were going to do, so I told Elizabeth that she was
in charge of the lesson! I love having kids old enough that you can
just say... you do it!!!Elizabeth took the job VERY seriously. She went straight to the Friend to look up articles on what to have our lesson on. She narrowed it down to two different stories. Josh and I told her to read both and see which one she liked the most. So off she went to prepare the lesson with Abby right at her heels wanting to help. They picked their lesson and that night this is what we found! Yes the girls came up with props...and wait for it...an activity to go with the lesson! Elizabeth read her lesson, with a little help from Nana, and used all her props to help illustrate her point, then she had made us each a missionary tags, because the lesson was on being a good missionary, and the activity was to put on our missionary tags and be good missionaries! I love this kid, she is so creative and smart. She is the best example to her little sister who wants to do everything her big sister does and to both Josh and I. This was one of the best FHE's we have had!! Thanks Elizabeth
Lindon Car Show
This Monday Josh took my dad's old truck to the Lindon Car Show. Abby and I came by for a little while to visit him and see how he was all by his self. He was great! Surrounded by cars with people who love cars! We walked around to see all the neat cars...well most of the cars there were so many there that I got tired and couldn't walk all of them. When Josh came home that night he had won a jacket. I love that Josh gets to do things that he likes to do, that is as long as I don't have sit down there all day!

More Pictures of Alaska
Here are some more pictures of Josh and my trip to Alaska, there were over 900 pictures between the three couples. It really was so much fun, can't wait for the next trip...
A New Sport!
This summer the girls each got to pick one activity to participate in.
Abby picked soccer and Elizabeth has picked Gymnastics. So for the past
month Elizabeth has been cartwheeling, flipping, and trying to walk in a
straight line! She loves it...apparently it's a "nice" girl sport, at
least for now! Here she is in her little outfit...
So far this sport seems to be sticking. Both her and Abby will be in gymnastics for the fall! I have a video of Elizabeth on my phone at gymnastics but until I figure out how to get it off it will have to stay there!
