October Fun...

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Tippetts we had a night of entertainment decorating pumpkin cookies.
The girls had a back story for each of their cookies....This cookie is Abby's her's started to be a vampire then the vampire was really hungry and wasn't a clean eater and got ALL of his food ALL over his face! That is why her's is such a mess!!!
This one is Elizabeth's cookie and he is a vampire with beard! He isn't a messy eater which is ironic because she is the messy eater and Abby is not as much!
The girls had so much fun decorating their cookies many thanks to Mark and Trudy for providing us with a fun night of creative decorating and story telling!

We LOVE The Fall!

I love when the leaves start to change colors and fall to the ground. I also like to take the girls out and take pictures of them. This year they did not really sit still for very long so I only got a couple of good pictures before I got mad at the girls and sent them into the house....These are what I got....

A Very Cold Field Trip With Abby

Yes it is that time of year again that I am suckered into going on field trips with the girls! At least this time I didn't have to go on the bus with all the screaming kids I got to follow the bus in my own quite car! First we went to Discovery Park in PG and the kids played for a while then we all sat in the freezing cold and ate lunch! At this point I was wondering what I was doing there, but Abby was so happy to have me so it was fun. Then after the park we went to this Equestrian Place in American Fork, where they learned all about farms and animals. Now that the memory of the whole field trip is a couple of weeks in the distance I think the whole thing was fun. But I have declared to my kids that mommy is only going on one field trip per kid per year! So I hope that you enjoyed me this field trip Abby because I am done for the year!

A Conversation About Our Future!

The other day the girls were in the car with me and we were driving down State Street and this is the conversation that took place....

Elizabeth: "What are those?" (pointing to an apartment building)
Me: "Apartments"
Abby: "Hey sister we all could live there when we go to school!"
Elizabeth: "Abby we would need to live close to the school that we go to so we can walk!"
Abby: "Oh...then we would all need to go to the same school!"
Elizabeth: "Well yea...we are going to BYU!"
Abby: "We might want to go to that one that mommy and daddy went to...you know in....Mom where did you and dad go to?"
Me: "Ricks College, in Idaho"
Elizabeth: "Yea I guess...but I think it's really cold there"
Abby: "We will have to ask Isabelle where she wants to go!"

I love that they are planning out their lives to live with each other and their cousin! And I even loved more that Elizabeth already has it in her head that she is WALKING!

Project!

I just finished this project that I started a while ago, I think that it turned out pretty good....
This is the BEFORE
 And this is the AFTER

RADS KIDS Graduation....again!

So apparently they do RADS KIDS twice while in elementary school. Once in 1st grade and then again in 4th grade. So Elizabeth had another RADS KIDS Graduation for us to go to! She was very excited to show us her newly learned moves of defense!! And now of course she thinks that she can protect us from anything, she says that she will just use her RADS KIDS moves on any bad guy!!! Here are some pictures of that night...
Before we got there that night we were asking her if she was going to hit really hard! And she said that she was. I was joking with her because she was skipping into the school that she probably shouldn't skip through her turn....so instead of skipping she kind of dragged her feet while she ran, which if you could picture it was kind of a gimpish half walk half run. As we were watching all the parents kept coming up to me asking me if Elizabeth hurt her leg and if that is why she was running that way...Josh and I just shook our heads and said nope that is her version of NOT SKIPPING!!! Yes we were so proud!
