Vegas Trip

We had a last minute trip to Vegas before Christmas. And when I say last minute I mean at 10pm the night before we left I decided to pack up everyone and go with Josh. We only spent a few days there but it was so nice to go down and see everyone. The first night we went to Bass Pro Shops and saw Santa. The girls got their picture taken with him. The girls were SO excited to see all their cousins. These pictures are courtesy of Auntie Laura.Another thing courtesy of Auntie Laura are these two pairs of shoes!!! We went shopping with her and Trudy and while in Target I'm trying to talk Elizabeth out of these shoes and into a nice normal pair of shoes that will go with everything. So I hold them up and say what do you think Auntie Laura and she says something like this, "Oooohhhh, twinkle toes I love twinkle toes!!!" It was all down hill after that then Abby got in on it and found these other ones and needless to say Auntie Laura is no longer invited shopping!!! But the girls are happy and we did have a fun time with you Aunti Laura so maybe we can go again!

Sydnee's Baptism

A few weeks ago...I know I'm behind on a lot of things....we went up to Sydnee's Baptism in Layton. Mark, Trudy, Jeremy and Laura came up from Vegas to go as well. It was so nice to see everyone, and to see Sydnee get baptised. She looked beautiful. The next night we went to temple square with everyone and spent some time there we had a wonderful weekend with the Tippetts.

Another Tooth Down

Elizabeth has lost another tooth. It is her front tooth and she came to me a told me to "just pull it out mom!" This kid amazes me she is so strong. Well that night we got her all excited for the tooth fairy to come and she put her tooth under her pillow and I fell asleep without putting the dollar under the pillow so she woke up and started to cry (I said strong but I meant physically strong emotionally she is a marshmallow!) I told her that the tooth fairy must of gotten backed up and I will call and talk to her. So while she was at school and while Abby was at school too, because that kid can't keep a secret to save her life, I put a dollar under the pillow and she came home and was so excited. She even came up with her own story of why the tooth fairy was late...I think it went something like there was a snow storm and she couldn't make it and when she went back to headquarters our elf went to talk to her and remind her that Elizabeth Tippetts didn't get her money and to go back and get it to her...or something like that!

Service With A Smile

A few weeks ago I had a friend that needed some help with her Christmas gifts, and I said that I would help do them. The project was a LITTLE larger then either of us thought it was going to be. But we enlisted some help from some VERY nice neighbors, poor things they just go walking with me and asked me that day if they could do anything to help me...I don't think they will be asking me that again! It took us about a day and a 1/2 to finish the projects and everyone was tired but it really ended up being fun. And when the men got home from work we recruited them into doing some crafting with us, who new they were so talented.
