Karlee's Birthday Party

Saturday just kept going with the cousins. It was Karlee's birthday and she had a party down at the Lindon Pool.  It was swimming, pizza and of course cake! It was the perfect way to end this very busy but very fun week together.
 Happy Birthday Karlee!

A Day With The Cousins!

Saturday we spent with the cousins! We started off at the outlet mall, but sadly we didn't stay long. Only long enough to find some shorts for Caleigh. Then it was off to Cabelas where the boys went off to look at guns or what ever it is that they look at and us girls went to see the fish and of course play with some toys!
After Cabelas we were off to get some food and then to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. We spent the rest of the afternoon there walking around the whole place. The kids had so much fun touching EVERYTHING they could get their little hands on!
I don't believe that this is what the planned use of this tire was for but Jason and Josh thought they could make it more fun by putting our kids inside of it and pushing them down the small hill...boys! The kids thought that this was a great plan as well and willingly volunteered to jump on in!

Swimming/BBQ/Fireworks and a Puzzle...Pioneer Day 2014

Pioneer Day didn't stop at the 5k we had a very FULL day a head of us. We had a Tippetts Family BBQ and swim party. All the kids had fun together swimming in the pool, while most of the adults sat by watching. It is always fun to watch all of these kids get together and play. After the swimming we had some yummy food, which is a must at any Tippetts family gatherings!
Then, of course it was firework time! I know that it is still light outside and I kind of forced everyone to come do the fireworks before it got too late, but I was really starting to get tired by this point in the day!  I think it turned out ok! The kids loved the fireworks and the boys seemed to have fun lighting them!
After all was said and done I even had time enough to get a pioneer puzzle done for the day (well I did have to finish it the next day but totally still counts as my pioneer day puzzle)
It was a busy and very full day that I really enjoyed. We sure can pack in the fun when we want to!!
